Vintage tip number four...

...read this months Frankie magazine, if for nothing else than just to feel warm and fuzzy inside when you look at the oh so pretty pictures. However if you did that you would be missing out on all the quirky articles (our favourite is talking in tongues), delicious jam recipes (complete with jam jar labels) and the free pull out poster you get every month (our Vintage Child warehouse walls are papered with them).

Where's the vintage? The magazine is full of it, from cool vintage adverts to a vintage shop directory, unfortunately as it is an Australian magazine many of the shops are, predictably, in Australia but most of them are also online so fear not, you may get your vintage yet. We're still waiting for our invitation to grace Frankie's pages but until then we will be content to receive our subscription every other month and sit and read it cover to cover, stick the poster on our wall, then go back and look at the pictures once again.

This magazine is the essence of vintage, the sepia photographs, the knitting patterns and the gardening advice is all what makes Frankie the best magazine in the world, literally, we've looked. And don't worry you wont have to travel down under to get your hands on one, you can order a subscription through their website frankie.com.au. Enjoy...
