Delivery and Returns
Please note: If you have placed and order on either our asos boutique, ebay store or Etsy shop all correspondance and your tracking code will be send to your inbox via the relevant website and not on vintagechild.co.uk. You must contact us via the relevant website or we may not be able to refund you. Your order number will also correspond with the purchase made on that website. While we conduct the same terms and conditions in all of our transactions you may wish to also read the terms and conditions of the website on which you placed your order.
If you are not completely happy with your purchase and should you wish to return any of the goods that you have purchased from us, please follow these important steps. We can offer a refund or exchange on any item that you are not completely happy with provided that you post it back to us unused in saleable condition with all the original tags in tact on the item. Items must be returned in the same condition as they were received or you will not be entitled to a refund under any circumstances. Returns will not be accepted if items appear to have been worn or have any odours including but not limited to: body odour, perfume, washing powder, cigarette smoke or cooking, tags have been removed or re-attached, items are not in a saleable condition or are not in the condition in which they were sent. Items returned that do not meet these standards will be returned at your own cost, the items will be held until a postage cost is transferred. All items are inspected upon arrival.
Items must be returned to us strictly within fourteen days of the delivery date. Any item(s) sent back after this date may be considered for an exchange at Vintage Child's discretion, please contact email@example.com to arrange an exchange. The return form must be completed and enclosed in your return parcel. Parcels sent by us will be considered received (unless otherwise stated) within five days of postage, this includes items that are being held at a postal depot. Items must be returned at your own cost. We regret that we cannot refund the cost of postage. If an item arrives with you and you deem it significantly not described you may be elligable for a return postage refund up to the cost of the original postage paid providing a receipt is produced. Return postage refunds are subject to inspection of goods upon return. Once the returned goods have been received we will process your refund to the card from which the original payment was made or via paypal.
Unfortunately we are currently unable to offer a refund on our made to order items.
We recommended that you use recorded mail when returning items to us as we cannot be held responsible for any items lost in the post.
To reduce paper wastage we do not send return forms with our deliveries. Should you require a return form please print and complete the form below and return it with your item(s) to: Returns at Vintage Child, Unit 18 Farningham Road, Crowborough, East Sussex, TN6 2JR, UK.

If the replacement item is higher in price then we will send you an email regarding a top up payment, if the replacement item is lower in price then we will refund you the difference.

We aim to deliver purchases delivered within the UK within two to five working days of receiving your order or one working day for next day delivery, residents outside the UK please allow up to eight days. Orders must be placed before 4pm for next day delivery, orders placed after 4pm will be delivered within 2 days. Orders placed on Fridays with next day delivery will be delivered on Monday, orders placed over weekends with next day delivery will be delivered on Tuesday. All orders are sent with Royal Mail Signed For Delivery, if you are not available to collect your parcel Royal Mail will leave a calling card for you to collect your parcel from your local post office. You must then collect your parcel within seven days or your parcel will be returned to us. In this event if you would like us to re-send your parcel and it is possible for us to do so it will be at your own cost. Once the parcel is signed for it is deemed delivered. Some countries will charge import duties, it is your responsibility pay for this so if you are ordering from outside the UK please check your countires customs policies before ordering, if you have any questions regarding duties please get in touch before ordering.
Please note that these delivery times serve as a guide only and while every effort is made to keep to these delivery times we cannot be held responsible for any late deliveries due to postal strikes or delays. Royal Mail advise that while standard and express deliveries usually take can take 3-5 working days for a standard parcel and 1-2 working days for an express parcel both of these services can take up to 21 days to deliver, only next day delivery is guaranteed. We cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged items once they have been dispatched unless you have opted for next day delivery. Shipping prices are subject to change.
In our effort to promote "slow-fashion" all our items are intended to last a lifetime and we are confident they will, however for your piece of mind we offer a three month replacement warranty and a lifetime repair warranty on all of our products. In the unlikely event that your item has any issues we will repair or replace it if it is sent back within three months. After that if you happen to damage your bag and it is repairable then we offer free repairs for life, please retain your order number for proof of purchase. If you do notice any faults on your item we ask that these are reported as soon as you receive your order.
